EnJoy project is a project designed to enhance Job opportunities and employability of Youth and Women and will be implemented in Oromia, SNNP, and Sidama regions for the coming 3 years. The implementation will be carried out by a consortium of partners (Caritas Switzerland as lead and Ethiopian Catholic Church, Social Development Commission and Volontrariato Internazionale per lo Sviluppo and VITA/RTI as implementing Partners)

A panel discussion was held to align all participants on the common challenges of Job Creation in Rural areas, best practices, and enabling environments to create sustainable employment opportunities.

In addition, participants from different government and private institutions, aid organizations, and implementing partners shared experiences and deliberated in 3 separate groups focusing on Agriculture/ technical Vocational education and Training institutions, MSMEs, and One-Stop Service Centers and how these can create synergy to address the nationwide employment needs.
As the Job Agenda is not to be left for one institution, the initiative taken by the consortium to tackle the constraints and needs of unemployed youth and women is highly commendable.
