A joint assessment of World Bank projects and the Ethiopian government’s financial fulfillment has been conducted in Addis Ababa.

On the discussion East Africa Skills for Transformation and Regional Integration Project-EASTRIP achievement evaluated by FDRE Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Labour and Skills.

The report shows about 70 percent of the total budget seized for the project will be used to build excellency centers in technical and vocational institutions.

H.E Beker Shale (PhD) State Minister of MoLS said the project is great value in the education and training sectors, and also to ensure quality and improving ties in the region.

The aim of East Africa Skills for Transformation and Regional Integration Project-EASTRIP to enlarge technical and vocational education and training programs include increasing, organizing, improving quality.  The project is being implemented in three East African countries, including Ethiopia.

The project, which is being implemented with funding from the World Bank, is building excellency centers in 16 technical and vocational institutions, 7 of which are in Ethiopia.
